So my cousin Shannon tagged me in this fun little game. I was instructed to open my first photo folder, scroll to the 10th photo, post the photo and tell the story behind it. Then tag other people to do the same.
So here's my picture, from April 14, 2007.
I was living in on-campus apartments my senior year of college, and my bestie/roomate and I decided to have an end of the year bash. Not just any college bash, but a BALLOON PARTY! That's right, we filled our apartment waist deep with balloons and had a dance party in them! I would compare it to a children's ball pit, without the urine stench :)
Throughout the night, we had about 60 people in our apt, some of which we had never met before in our lives. We also had a beer pong table, and a pot full of an excellent little beverage we like to call "ty-drizzles." Needless to say, we had an amazing night!
It was pretty much impossible to sit anywhere, because you would get lost in the balloons. Can you see my friend Keith laying on the couch up in the first picture?
We had a friendly visit from campus police, (I say friendly because I was an RA, so they just laughed when I stumbled to the door) and many visitors just stopping by to see if the stories were true. We had a blast, though I wouldn't necessarily suggest this to others.We spent the whole rest of the semester cleaning up shrapnel from the popped balloons!!
