i'm going to attempt to jump back into blog world, with this interesting shopping story. if you know anything about me, you know i'm a compulsive shopper, and i believe 100% in retail therapy.
a couple weeks ago, justin got a migraine and went to bed on saturday at 5pm. he didn't wake up until 730am the next morning! i spent the whole evening sitting on our couch, thinking he'd be getting up any minute, and ended up falling asleep with bailey passed out in my lap at midnight. during those 7 hours by myself, i had nothing to do but think about stupid stuff and work myself into a frenzy. so of course, i started looking for boots online to clear my head.
i found a crazy clearance sale at Journeys, and ended up buying enough to reach the free shipping limit. 5 pairs of shoes for $100 is such a good deal though!! i was pumped.
the day they arrived, all in one huge box, justin's mom didn't believe it was filled with shoes. she was convinced i had bought some piece of furniture or something. i was slightly disappointed to find the shoe boxes carelessly tossed around in the box, with many of the shoes just floating around in there. but needless to say, i was still ecstatic.
now, do you notice anything strange about this picture? let me give you a closer look.
so yea, i bought 5 pairs of shoes, but only received 9 shoes! i called immediately, and i have to ship back the one shoe, so they can send me a new pair. why can't they just send me the missing shoe? i don't get it. and it's a hassle. but at least they're paying for the shipping i guess?
anyways, the shoes that i did receive are all super comfy and i love them and they were worth an evening spent making myself feel better by spending money i dont have on things i don't really need. anything to make a girl smile, right?
